Hypertec 391862-HY Καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικών ινών 2 m ST πολύχρωμο

The Hypertec 391862-HY 2m ST Multicolour fibre optic cable is a 2-meter OM3 multimode patch cable equipped with ST connectors at both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this cable supports reliable signal integrity over short to medium distances and is suitable for structured cabling in data centers, server rooms and enterprise networks. The multicolour jacket allows easy identification and cable management in dense installations while the cable construction balances flexibility with durability for frequent handling.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre provides improved bandwidth performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed multimode applications. The ST connector offers a secure bayonet-style coupling that is straightforward to connect and disconnect. The 2 m length is practical for patching between racks, panels and network equipment without excess slack. The multicolour outer jacket simplifies tracing and reduces installation time in environments with many fibre runs. The cable's build resists kinking and bending beyond normal handling, contributing to consistent optical performance.

How to use

Route the fibre cable between the two network endpoints, taking care to avoid tight bends and sharp edges that can cause attenuation. Align the ST connectors with the receptacles and engage the bayonet coupling until it locks in place. If connecting to active equipment, ensure ports are powered down or that appropriate ESD procedures are followed when required. Use the multicolour sheath to maintain consistent labelling and to document the connection in your rack diagram. For storage, coil the cable loosely to preserve bend radius and avoid kinks.
