Καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικών ινών Aruba JL489A 5 m SFP28 μαύρο

The Aruba JL489A is a 5 m SFP28 direct attach copper (DAC) cable designed for use with selected Aruba devices. With SFP28 connectors on both ends and a 25G data rate, this cable provides a short-range, high-density interconnect solution for data centers and enterprise networks. The cable's construction supports reliable signal integrity for high-speed links while maintaining a compact form factor and black jacket for easy identification.

Advantages

The SFP28 to SFP28 direct attach copper design offers low latency and power-efficient operation compared with active optical alternatives, while enabling straightforward, low-cost connections between compatible Aruba ports. Its 5 m length is suitable for top-of-rack and adjacent-rack connections, and the standardized SFP28 connectors ensure compatibility with devices that accept passive DAC modules.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack switch to server connections
• Adjacent-rack links in data centers
• High-density 25G networking in enterprise environments
• Short-reach links where passive DACs are supported

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: HP Enterprise (Aruba)
• Model / MPN: JL489A
• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 (direct attach copper)
• Length: 5 m
• Data rate: 25 Gbps
• Color: Black
• EAN: 0190017199696

How to use

Install the cable by firmly inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on compatible Aruba or HP Enterprise equipment until the latch engages. Ensure both ends are seated and that connected devices are powered off or follow hot-plugging procedures recommended by the equipment vendor. Use the 5 m length to route between closely positioned racks or between a top-of-rack switch and servers, avoiding tight bends and excessive strain on the cable.

Recommendations

Verify device compatibility and firmware requirements before deployment. Avoid sharp bends, kinks, and excessive pulling force. For longer distances or environments requiring optical isolation, consider appropriate active optical transceivers or fiber solutions instead of passive DACs.
