The HoMedics MD-1000-EU2 Skin Vacuum Microdermabrasion device is a home-use tool for pore cleansing and skin renewal. Designed with a diamond-encrusted tip and a gentle vacuum action, it removes dead skin cells and surface impurities to improve skin tone and texture and reduce the visible signs of fine lines, enlarged pores and age-related spots. The compact, battery-powered white unit includes two diamond tips for normal and sensitive skin, a charging base, replacement wool filters and a travel bag for convenient at-home treatments.

Advantages

Microdermabrasion with the MD-1000-EU2 provides deep exfoliation using diamond-encrusted tips combined with a mild vacuum massage to lift away dead skin cells and debris. Two tip options let you adapt the treatment for normal or sensitive skin. The device also features a cooling surface to soothe skin after exfoliation, and the kit includes filters, a cleaning brush and USB charging for easy maintenance and portability.

How to use

Use on clean, dry skin. Select the diamond tip appropriate for your skin type and attach it to the device. For best results, perform a five-minute treatment per session and avoid prolonged single-area passes—move the device gently across the skin. Recommended frequency is up to three times per week. After exfoliation, flip the device to use the cooling surface to soothe the treated area, then apply a moisturiser to restore hydration and support skin barrier repair.

Recommendations

Begin with the sensitive tip if you have reactive or thin skin and limit sessions to shorter times until you assess tolerance. Use a hydrating moisturiser after every treatment and limit sun exposure; use SPF following treatment. Do not use on broken, inflamed or sunburned skin. Follow the instruction manual for filter replacement and device cleaning.
