The Hama Magnet Passive holder is a compact magnetic mount for mobile phones and smartphones designed for car use. Its ultra-strong magnet and supplied metal plates turn virtually any phone into a magnetic-compatible device, providing a reliable hold while driving. The holder supports both portrait and landscape orientations with a 360° swivel and fits devices with or without protective cases. Its clamp fastening allows tool-free, space-saving installation in the vehicle.

Advantages

The passive magnetic system provides a secure grip without electrical power, while the compact black design minimizes visual clutter. Metal plates can be attached or inserted between the phone and case to enable magnetic mounting. A 360° swivel joint allows quick adjustment to portrait or landscape viewing, and the clamp mounting ensures simple, tool-free assembly.

Recommendations

For optimal hold, ensure the metal plate is centred and firmly attached to the device. Avoid placing the holder where it obstructs airbags or driver visibility. Check compatibility with thick protective cases; for best magnetic contact, place the metal plate between the phone and case when required.
