Advantages

The silver-coated female coax connector offers a compact 6 mm outer diameter that fits standard coax cable applications while maintaining consistent contact and signal continuity. Its single-piece packaging reduces handling and protects the connector during storage. The connector’s metal finish supports durable electrical contact and mechanical stability during repeated connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting home audio and video coaxial cables
• Extending or repairing coax cable runs
• Use in set-top boxes, televisions and radio equipment requiring a 6 mm female coax interface
• Temporary or permanent cabling in AV installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: female coaxial
• Outer diameter: 6 mm
• Colour/finish: silver
• Package quantity: 1 piece per pack
• Packaging type: hanging box

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket and dielectric to the dimensions required for the female connector. Insert the cable conductor and braid into the connector body according to the connector’s assembly design, ensuring secure mechanical fit and electrical contact. Tighten or crimp the connector as appropriate for the connector model and the installation environment. After assembly, verify continuity and signal quality with appropriate test equipment before finalizing the installation.

Recommendations

Use the connector with compatible 6 mm coaxial cable types and follow cable stripping and assembly instructions specific to the connector. Avoid excessive bending at the connection point and ensure connectors are tightened or secured to prevent intermittent signal loss. Store in a dry environment and use the hanging box for protection until installation.
