Hama 00200692 Καλώδιο δικτύου Μαύρο 1,5 m Cat8 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hama 00200692 RJ-45 Cat8 networking cable, 1.5 m in length and black in colour, supports Gigabit Ethernet and data transfer speeds up to 40 Gbps. Constructed to Cat8 standard with S/FTP double shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 plugs, the cable is designed for reliable high-speed connectivity and reduced electromagnetic interference. The halogen-free (LSZH) sheath improves safety by emitting hardly any smoke and no corrosive or toxic gases in case of fire.

Advantages

Gold-plated plugs provide low contact resistance for secure signal transmission while the S/FTP double shielding reduces electromagnetic interference. The slimline RJ-45 connectors suit mobile and flat devices or installations with limited space. Flexible, high-quality materials and robust workmanship ensure kink protection and prevent cable breakage, delivering consistent transmission quality.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch or computer) and the other plug to the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heavy compression to maintain shielding and transmission quality. For best results, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Cat8 installations and avoid running parallel to high-power electrical lines.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8 cable in short to medium-length runs between high-speed network equipment and in environments where reduced electromagnetic interference and improved fire safety (LSZH) are desirable.
