Hama 00178109 κλειδαριά ποδηλάτου μαύρο 650 mm κλειδαριά καλωδίου

The Hama 00178109 Black 650 mm cable lock is a compact security accessory designed for everyday use with bicycles and similar personal transport. With a 650 mm steel cable sheathed in a protective coating and a plastic housing for the locking mechanism, this lock provides basic theft deterrence for short stops and urban environments. The product includes two keys and a black finish that blends with most bike frames.

Advantages

This cable lock combines portability and ease of use: the moderate 650 mm length is long enough to secure a bike to many standard racks yet short enough to carry or attach to a frame. The plastic housing protects the locking cylinder from weather and reduces the risk of scratching the bicycle surface. Supplied with two keys, it allows an immediate and convenient locking routine without additional items.

How to use

Wrap the cable around the frame and a fixed object such as a bike rack or pole, making sure to secure both the frame and, if possible, the wheel. Insert the cable end into the locking housing and turn the key to lock; remove the key and keep it safe. To unlock, insert the key and rotate to release the cable. Regularly check that the lock engages fully and that the protective coating remains intact to avoid metal-on-metal contact or frame scratches.

Recommendations

The cable lock is intended for low- to medium-risk situations and short-term protection. For high-risk areas or overnight storage, consider combining this cable with a heavier U-lock or chain lock. Store the keys in a secure place and inspect the cable and housing periodically for wear or damage.
