The door should not always be open to everyone. With the window contact, you are on the safe side and informed at all times - whether you have forgotten to close a window or someone is trying to gain access.

Energy-saving heating with window contact
Smart window contact, smart heating control If the window sensor is linked to a smart heating thermostat via an automation device, the heating is turned down as soon as you open a window - saving you heating costs and keeping your CO2 footprint smaller too

Ventilation the right way
A healthy indoor climate with the door and window sensor: prolonged shock ventilation and a chilly apartment are a thing of the past with the contact sensor, since the app reminds you after a defined time that windows and doors are still open

Security system
There’s nobody there, but the door or window opens: with the window alarm, nobody can make their way into your home unnoticed since, as soon as something happens with a window or door, you get a push notification on your mobile phone or the siren linked to it starts to sound

Can be extended at will with other Smart Home products
Step by step to the Smart Home: with the Hama Smart Home app and window contact, lots of automation devices can be programmed for a secure and comfortable home with other smart home products, e.g. with a smart alarm siren, WLAN lamp, surveillance camera

Easy operation from anywhere via the app
Whether it be the sofa or the sun lounger: with the Hama Smart Home app, you can check the status of windows, doors and more from anywhere, ensuring you have complete control over your home at all times

Convenient voice control
Whether it be Amazon Alex, Google Assistant or Apple Siri: comfortably check via voice command from the couch whether the bathroom window is still open

How to use

Insert the Type A plug into the host device USB port (computer or charger) and connect the compatible Type A/B end to the peripheral or device. Ensure both devices are powered on if required for data transfer. For charging, confirm the power source provides the appropriate output for the device being charged. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and unplug the cable by gripping the connector housing rather than pulling the cable sheath.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cable at room temperature and avoid exposure to liquids or prolonged direct sunlight. Keep connectors clean and store the cable coiled without tight knots to prolong service life. For higher transfer speeds or specific device compatibility, verify whether USB 3.x or manufacturer-recommended cables are preferred.
