Hager RTD200X Μετατροπέας IP σε 2 συρμάτων για θυροτηλέφωνα

This IP to 2-wire converter bridges modern IP networks with existing 2-wire door intercom installations, enabling seamless integration of Hager IP intercom components over legacy JY(ST)Y cabling. Its standout capability is the transparent transmission of IP data, audio, and video over a single 2-wire pair, eliminating the need for new CAT cabling in retrofit scenarios.

Advantages

By converting Ethernet signals to 2-wire, the RTD200X allows you to leverage existing building wiring, significantly reducing installation time and material costs. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support simplifies deployment by delivering both data and power over a single CAT cable to the converter, while the option for 24 V DC supply offers flexibility in non-PoE environments. The compact 4 TE DIN rail housing integrates neatly into distribution boards, and the IP20 rating ensures safe operation in indoor technical rooms.

Suitable for

• Upgrading legacy 2-wire intercom systems to IP-based Hager platforms like domovea or hager ready.
• Connecting IP outdoor stations or indoor monitors to existing JY(ST)Y or IY(ST)Y two-wire cabling.
• Installations where running new CAT cables is impractical or cost-prohibitive.
• DIN rail mounting in electrical enclosures for centralized intercom infrastructure.

Key specifications

• Input interface: 1x RJ45 Ethernet port (10/100 Mbps).
• Output interface: 2-wire terminal block for JY(ST)Y, IY(ST)Y, or similar cables.
• Supports CAT5e, CAT6, or higher Ethernet cables.
• Maximum 2-wire cable length: up to 100 m (depending on cable cross-section).
• Power supply: PoE (IEEE 802.3af/at) or 24 V DC (current consumption approx. 100 mA).
• Mounting: DIN rail (4 TE) or surface mount.
• Protection class: IP20; operating temperature: -5°C to +45°C; relative humidity: 5% to 93% RH (non-condensing).
• Compatibility: Hager IP intercom systems (domovea, hager ready).

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use shielded CAT6 cable for the Ethernet connection and ensure the 2-wire cable is in good condition with a minimum cross-section of 0.6 mm² for runs approaching 100 m. When using PoE, verify that the network switch or injector provides sufficient power (802.3af/at). Mount the converter on a DIN rail in a dry, ventilated enclosure to maintain the specified operating conditions.
