Βύσμα οπτικών ινών LC Female/Female Alcasa LW-K201

The Alcasa LW-K201 LC Female/Female fibre optic connector by Good Connections is designed for use with OS2 single-mode fibre. It provides a compact in-line adapter that enables two LC male connectors to be joined securely, maintaining low insertion loss and stable optical continuity. The product is suitable for indoor networking installations where precise alignment and dependable signal transmission are required.

Advantages

The LC Female/Female connector offers precise ferrule alignment for minimal signal attenuation and return loss. Constructed to fit standard LC connector profiles, it supports reliable mating cycles and consistent optical performance over repeated insertions. Its compact form factor saves space in patch panels and enclosures while simplifying fibre link extensions and repairs.

Suitable for

• Extending single-mode OS2 fibre links in data centers
• Connecting LC-terminated patch cords in telecommunications rooms
• Field repairs and temporary joins during fibre installation work
• Indoor network cabinets, patch panels and distribution frames

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC female to LC female (duplex-compatible)
• Fibre compatibility: OS2 single-mode
• Interface: Standard LC adapter dimensions for snap-in mounting
• Optical performance: low insertion loss and low back reflection (typical values depend on mating connectors)
• Material: durable housing suitable for indoor use
• Operating environment: designed for standard indoor telecommunications environments

How to use

Ensure both fibre ends are clean and free of dust or debris before connecting. Insert each LC male connector into the respective female port of the adapter until a positive click is felt, confirming proper engagement. Verify optical continuity and measure insertion loss if required. When disconnecting, depress the LC connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Use a fibre inspection probe and lint-free wipes with approved cleaning solution to maintain low loss connections. Store spare adapters in protective packaging to prevent contamination. Avoid exposure to moisture and mechanical stress to preserve optical performance.
