Patchpanel Alcasa GC-N0115 0,5HE

The Alcasa GC-N0115 0.5U patch panel is a compact, steel-constructed module designed for organized Gigabit Ethernet termination in network racks. With twelve RJ45 ports compatible with Cat6 cabling, this black 0.5U unit provides a space-efficient solution for patching and horizontal cabling runs. Its small footprint and durable metal housing make it suitable for installations where rack space and reliability are priorities.

Advantages

The panel offers twelve RJ45 ports in a half-rack height format, allowing dense port placement without occupying a full U. Constructed from steel, the unit provides mechanical durability and EMI shielding typical of metal patch panels. Support for Cat6 cabling ensures compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet performance, while the compact dimensions (212 mm width, 22 mm height, 100 mm depth) simplify fitting into constrained rack or cabinet environments.

Suitable for

• Small to medium rack-mounted network closets and server cabinets
• Office floor horizontal cabling distribution for Gigabit Ethernet
• Patch panels in telecom racks where minimal U space is required
• Environments requiring a compact Cat6 termination point

Key specifications

• Form factor: 0.5U rack-mount panel
• Number of ports: 12 RJ45 ports
• Cable category supported: Cat6
• Material: Steel housing
• Colour: Black
• Dimensions (W×H×D): 212 mm × 22 mm × 100 mm

How to use

Mount the patch panel to a compatible 19-inch rack or cabinet using appropriate mounting hardware. Terminate Cat6 cables to the RJ45 connectors according to standard wiring schemes (T568A or T568B) and test each port with a cable tester to confirm continuity and performance. Organize and label each port to simplify maintenance and future changes. Ensure the panel is secured and that cable routing minimizes sharp bends and strain on terminations.

Recommendations

For consistent Gigabit performance, use certified Cat6 cables and perform post-termination testing. Keep cable bundles neat and avoid excessive bending radii; consider using cable management accessories to reduce mechanical strain and improve airflow in the rack.
