Γωνιακός τροχός Metabo WEQ 1400-125

The Metabo WEQ 1400-125 angle grinder is a compact, corded grinding tool designed for general-purpose metal and masonry work. It is powered by a 1400 W motor that delivers up to 11500 RPM at no load and produces 3.3 N⋅m of torque. The grinder accepts 125 mm (12.5 cm) discs and weighs 2.2 kg, offering a balance of power and manoeuvrability for both trade and workshop tasks. The housing is finished in Metabo’s standard green and black colour scheme and the design incorporates overload protection to reduce risk during extended use.

Advantages

The tool combines a high-power 1400 W motor with a compact, lightweight 2.2 kg body for reduced operator fatigue. A maximum idle speed of 11500 RPM ensures efficient material removal when using 125 mm discs. Built-in overload protection helps prevent motor damage under heavy loads and extends tool life. The grinder’s size and weight make it straightforward to position and control in confined areas and for overhead work.

Suitable for

• Cutting and grinding metal components and profiles
• Removing rust, scale, and old paint from steel surfaces
• Shaping and smoothing masonry and concrete edges
• Light fabrication and workshop tasks requiring portable grinding

Key specifications

• Motor power: 1400 W
• Maximum no-load speed: 11500 RPM
• Torque: 3.3 N⋅m
• Disc diameter: 125 mm (12.5 cm)
• Weight: 2.2 kg
• Product colours: Green, Black

How to use

Before use, fit a compatible 125 mm disc rated for the grinder’s maximum speed and ensure the disc guard is correctly positioned. Secure the workpiece and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. Start the grinder and allow it to reach full speed before applying it to the work surface. Use steady, controlled strokes and avoid forcing the tool; allow the motor and disc to perform the cutting or grinding. If the tool shows signs of overload, release pressure and allow the overload protection to disengage as designed.

Recommendations

For best results, match the disc type to the task (cut-off wheels for cutting, grinding discs for metal removal, flap discs for finishing). Maintain proper ventilation when working on dusty materials, replace worn discs promptly, and store the tool in a dry, clean place. Regularly inspect the power cable and guard for damage and follow Metabo’s maintenance guidance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
