Glasfaserkabel DELOCK 91022 Multimode POF 3 m, schwarz/grau

The DeLOCK HFBR 4503-4513Z fibre optic cable is a 3 m plastic optical fibre (POF) simplex cable with HFBR connectors on both ends. It supports multi-mode transmission with a 1 mm core and is compatible with Avago/Broadcom Versatile Link devices, providing reliable, low-loss signal transfer for short-range optical links. The cable includes dust protection caps for the connectors.

Advantages

The cable offers simplex HFBR 4503Z (grey) and HFBR 4513Z (blue) male connectors, low insertion loss below 2.0 dB, and a durable 1 mm POF core suited to multi-mode applications. Its 3 m length and included dust caps make it ready for immediate installation and reduce the risk of contamination during storage or transport.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This POF cable is intended for short-distance, multi-mode applications and is not designed for long-haul or single-mode fibre networks. It may not meet the requirements of systems that need higher bandwidth or lower attenuation over long distances than what plastic optical fibre can provide.

How to use

Before use, remove the dust caps from the HFBR connectors and inspect the connector endfaces for contamination. Plug the grey HFBR 4503Z and blue HFBR 4513Z connectors into the corresponding transmitter and receiver ports on Avago/Broadcom devices or compatible modules. Ensure connectors are fully seated to minimize insertion loss. After disconnecting, replace the dust caps to protect the connector ends.

Recommendations

Use this DeLOCK HFBR 4503-4513Z POF cable for short-range, multi-mode connections where simplicity and compatibility with Avago/Broadcom Versatile Link modules are required. Keep dust caps in place when the cable is idle and avoid tight bends to preserve optical performance.
