Glasfaser-Adapterkabel DELOCK 91027 Multimode 100 cm schwarz/grau, 1 Stk.

The Delock HFBR 4506-4516Z fibre optic cable is a 1 m multi-mode plastic optical fibre (POF) patch cable with HFBR duplex male connectors in contrasting colours. It is intended for short-range optical links and is compatible with Avago/Broadcom Versatile Link devices and related transmitters and receivers, offering interference-free signal transmission for local networks, AV setups or industrial connections.

Advantages

The cable combines a 1 mm core plastic fibre for simple handling with duplex HFBR connectors on both ends and includes dust protection caps for connector longevity. Its 100 cm length and multi-mode design make it suitable for short-distance links where reliable, low-interference optical transmission is required.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This cable uses plastic optical fibre with a 1 mm core designed for short-distance multimode transmission; it is not intended for long-distance single-mode fibre runs or applications requiring glass fibre performance. It also requires devices with HFBR-style connectors (4506/4516 series) to mate correctly.

How to use

Align the duplex HFBR connectors with the corresponding HFBR ports on your transceivers or devices and insert until secure. Ensure dust caps are removed before connection and replace them when the cable is not in use to protect the connector endfaces. Route the 1 m cable without sharp bends and avoid excessive tensile stress to preserve optical performance.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use this DELOCK 1 m HFBR POF duplex cable for short-distance multimode connections between compatible Avago/Broadcom Versatile Link transceivers, keep dust caps on when idle, and avoid tight bends to maintain signal quality.
