Glasfaser-Adapterkabel DELOCK 91024 Multimode 2 m, Schwarz/Blau, 1 Stk.

The DELOCK 91024 is a 2 m multi-mode plastic optical fibre (POF) adapter cable with HFBR-style simplex male connectors in black and blue. It is intended for short-distance optical signal transmission between compatible Avago/Broadcom (Versatile Link) devices and other equipment with matching HFBR ports, providing a simple, interference-resistant link for LAN, audio/video and similar interconnects.

Advantages

The cable uses a 1 mm core plastic optical fibre that is tolerant to small bends and easy to handle during installation. It connects directly via simplex HFBR male connectors on both ends and includes dust protection caps to keep connectors clean when not in use. The colour-coded ends (black and blue) simplify identification of transmit and receive sides in paired links.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This plastic optical fibre cable is designed for short-range, multi-mode use; it is not suitable for long-distance or single-mode fibre applications. It also does not replace fibre solutions that require higher bandwidth or tighter attenuation characteristics offered by glass optical fibres.

How to use

Insert each simplex male HFBR connector into the corresponding HFBR socket on the transmitter and receiver, observing the colour coding to match transmit and receive ports if required. Ensure dust caps are removed before connection and replace them when the cable is not in use. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid excessive tension to maintain signal integrity.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

For reliable short-range connections, use the DELOCK 91024 to link compatible HFBR ports, keep connector dust caps on when idle, avoid tight bends, and verify port orientation by the black/blue colour coding before powering connected devices.
