Gateway Jung 30128 1S DA2 R KNX DALI-2 Gateway Χρώμα 2-κάναλο

The Gateway Jung 30128 1S DA2 R KNX DALI-2 Gateway Colour 2‑channel links KNX building automation with DALI-2 lighting devices, providing two independent DALI channels for color-capable luminaires and drivers. It enables bidirectional communication between the KNX bus and connected DALI-2 devices, allowing monitoring, control and feedback of color settings, scenes and device status. The device is suitable for integrating color-tunable fixtures into KNX systems in commercial and residential installations where coordinated color control and scene management are required.

Advantages

This KNX to DALI-2 gateway supports two separate DALI channels for independent control of different lighting groups or zones. It provides bidirectional feedback so KNX can read device status and color parameters from the DALI-2 network. The gateway enables color control and scene recall for DALI-2 colour-capable luminaires while maintaining centralized control via KNX. Its compact module design simplifies integration into standard electrical cabinets and KNX projects.

How to use

Mount the gateway in the installation enclosure according to electrical safety regulations and connect the KNX bus and the two DALI-2 channels to the corresponding terminals. Configure group addresses, color control parameters and scene assignments in the KNX engineering tool, and commission the connected DALI-2 devices to discover addresses and capabilities. Use the KNX visualisation or control panels to send color commands, recall scenes and monitor device status; the gateway will translate and relay commands and feedback between the two systems.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, perform DALI-2 device commissioning and verify colour-capable driver compatibility before finalising KNX configuration. Keep DALI wiring segregated from high-voltage cables, follow manufacturer installation guidelines, and document group and scene mappings in the KNX project for future maintenance.
