Bosch 06008B5300 garden trowel is a compact digging hand tool with an 8.5 cm wide blade and a green/black finish. It is designed for planting, transplanting and soil work in beds and containers. The trowel provides controlled digging and scooping in tight spaces, combining a narrow profile for precision with a sturdy blade for general garden maintenance.

Advantages

The trowel offers a balance of precision and durability thanks to its moderately wide blade and ergonomic handle. Its compact size makes it easy to manoeuvre in small flowerbeds, pots and raised beds while the blade shape enables efficient scooping and soil penetration. The green/black finish aids visibility in the garden and resists soiling. The tool is suitable for repeated daily use by hobby gardeners and professionals performing routine planting and transplanting tasks.

Suitable for

• Planting seedlings and bulbs in beds or containers
• Transplanting small plants and herbs
• Digging small holes and loosening soil in tight spaces
• Mixing soil amendments in pots and planters

Key specifications

• Blade width: 8.5 cm
• Blade shape: narrow, slightly tapered for precise digging
• Finish: green and black
• Tool type: hand trowel for digging and scooping
• Intended use: planting, transplanting and soil work in beds and containers

How to use

Hold the trowel by the handle and place the blade tip at the intended planting point. Push the blade into the soil with steady pressure, using a twisting motion if necessary to create a clean hole. Remove soil by scooping with the blade and transfer it to a bucket or another location. For transplanting, dig a hole large enough for the root ball, position the plant and backfill by pressing soil gently around the roots. Clean the blade after use to remove soil and debris and store the tool in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use the trowel for light to medium garden tasks; avoid levering large stones or prying heavy roots to prevent bending the blade. Regularly clean and dry the tool after use and sharpen the blade edge occasionally if needed to maintain efficient penetration. Wear gardening gloves for better grip and protection.
