De Buyer 4706.32 round fluted surface cake mould is made of thick steel with a straight edge and a removable bottom for easy cake or tart release. The mould has a fluted (fluted surface) design, a diameter of 32 cm and a height of 30 mm, with a bottom thickness of 0.6 mm. The iron construction allows the mould to reach high temperatures for better caramelisation and even heat distribution, suitable for traditional oven baking up to 220°C.

How to use

Before each use, grease the mould lightly to further facilitate release. Assemble the removable bottom and place the prepared dough or batter in the fluted mould. Bake in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 220°C according to your recipe. After baking, allow the tart or cake to cool slightly before removing the ring and lifting out the removable bottom to preserve shape.

Recommendations

Do not use metal utensils that might damage the PTFE coating. Wash the mould by hand using a non-abrasive sponge and avoid dishwasher cleaning to preserve the coating and prevent oxidation.
