The Honeywell CK65 handheld mobile computer combines a 4" WVGA touchscreen with an optional alphanumeric or numeric keypad to support both touch-based and legacy key-based warehouse applications. Built on the Honeywell Mobility Edge platform and running Android, the CK65 reuses CK3X/R batteries and accessories while delivering extended lifecycle support, enterprise security updates, and simplified device management for large deployments.

Advantages

The CK65 offers industry-leading investment protection with Android support from O through R and security updates for up to two years after Google’s last patch. Mobility Edge reduces certification, deployment, and support costs and ensures application portability across devices. The unit is purpose-built for warehouse and manufacturing environments with an ultra-rugged design rated to IP64, multiple 2.4 m (8 ft) drops to concrete, and 2,000 1.0 m (3.3 ft) tumbles. A long-life smart battery delivers up to 18 hours of operation with hot-swap capability, and integrated Honeywell imaging provides reliable 1D/2D scanning with a standard read range suitable for warehouse workflows.

Suitable for

• Warehouse inventory management
• Receiving and shipping operations
• Manufacturing floor data capture
• Field service and logistics workflows

How to use

Power on the CK65 and connect to your enterprise Wi‑Fi network using the built-in WLAN settings. Choose the input method that matches your application: use the full touchscreen for modern touch applications or the keypad for legacy key-based workflows. For scanning, aim the imager at barcodes within the supported read range and press the scan trigger; for high-volume scanning, consider the optional scan handle for pistol-grip operation. Replace depleted batteries using the hot-swap procedure to avoid rebooting: remove the empty battery and insert a charged one while the device remains powered by the battery bay logic.

Recommendations

Deploy devices on Mobility Edge-compatible management tools to simplify provisioning and security updates. Use OEM or certified batteries and accessories (CK3X/R-compatible) to maintain durability and battery runtime. For best scanning performance, keep the imager window clean and use appropriate scan settings for barcode density and distance.
