Φορητός υπολογιστής Datalogic Skorpio X5

The Datalogic Skorpio X5 is a handheld mobile computer with a 4.3" multi-touch Gorilla Glass display and a high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon platform. Designed for retail, transportation & logistics, manufacturing and healthcare, this rugged Portable Data Terminal (PDT) offers multiple scan engine options — including Linear, 2D, Mid-Range and an Extra-Long Range (XLR) imager — enabling fast, reliable reading of barcodes at varied distances and in difficult conditions. The device runs Android 10, provides 4 GB RAM, 64 GB flash storage (expandable via MicroSD), and Wi‑Fi 5 connectivity, delivering a balance of processing power, storage and connectivity for enterprise applications.

Advantages

The Skorpio X5 delivers wide scanning flexibility with the market’s largest choice of scan engines and an XLR option capable of reading codes at distances up to 20 m. It is a fully rugged device with drop resistance up to 1.8 m, IP65 protection, Gorilla Glass display and optional rubber boot for additional impact protection. Models with contactless wireless charging reduce maintenance and improve reliability, while hot-swappable battery design and advanced power management support long shifts. The device runs Android 10 with Google Mobile Services and meets Android Enterprise Recommended criteria for enterprise deployment.

How to use

Choose the Skorpio X5 model and scan engine that match your operational needs (e.g., XLR for long-range scanning or Mid-Range for mid-distance tasks). Power on the unit, configure Wi‑Fi and enterprise settings via Android and Google Enterprise APIs, and insert a MicroSD card if additional storage is needed. Use the physical keypad or the touchscreen for application interaction; position the device toward the barcode and press the appropriate scan key (side, central, trigger or bottom) or use the soft spot to capture codes. For continuous operations, swap batteries as needed without shutting down workflows or use contactless charging models where supported.

Recommendations

For best results, select the scanner variant that matches your typical read distance and environment. Use the optional rubber boot for extra drop protection in harsh environments, enable power management settings for long shifts, and adopt wireless charging models to minimize contact wear and maintenance.
