The Datalogic PowerScan PM9600 (PM9600-DHP433RBK10) is a rugged handheld barcode reader designed for industrial use, offering 1D/2D scanning, 433 MHz wireless connectivity, a display with 4-key keypad, removable battery and a USB kit that includes scanner, BC9630-433 cradle, CAB-552 cable, 8-0935 power supply and 6003-0940 power cord. The device carries IP65 and IP67 ratings, survives 2.5 m drops onto concrete and features a trigger rated for up to 10 million actuations. It supports wired and wireless communications, exchangeable communication modules in the cradle, and multiple interface options such as RS-232, USB, USB-C, Ethernet, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET.

Advantages

The PowerScan PM9600 combines durable mechanical protection and resistance to dust and water with wireless charging in its cradle to avoid contact corrosion and charging failures. It offers flexible connectivity through swappable modules, reducing the need for third-party adapters and enabling quick reconfiguration to future network standards. Performance is available in different reader levels, including a high-performance dual-camera variant for extended range and a document-capture option for color imaging. Proprietary STAR narrow-band radio reduces interference and supports up to 16 scanners per cradle, while smart battery management and cradle diagnostics improve uptime and lower total cost of ownership.

Suitable for

• Industrial manufacturing traceability
• Warehouse and intralogistics scanning
• Retail backroom and inventory management
• Quality control with color document capture (Document Capture model)
