Φορητό θερμόμετρο Black & Decker TLD100-XJ

The Black & Decker TLD100-XJ handheld thermometer is a compact thermal leak detector that helps locate temperature differentials around a property. It measures in both °C and °F and indicates the presence of hot or cold draughts via a light: blue for cold and red for warm. The device has adjustable sensitivity and an ergonomic form for comfortable one-handed use, supplied as a single unit per pack.

Advantages

The unit provides clear visual indication of hot and cold draughts, supports both Celsius and Fahrenheit scales, and allows sensitivity adjustment for more precise detection. Its compact, lightweight design makes it easy to carry and use in confined spaces, and the single-pack format is suitable for both domestic and professional inspections.

Suitable for

• Detecting insulation gaps around windows and doors
• Locating drafts in walls, floors and ceilings
• Assessing heat loss areas for energy efficiency improvements
• Quick spot-checks of temperature differences during maintenance

Key specifications

• Measurement units: Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F)
• Indicator lights: blue for cold draughts, red for warm draughts
• Adjustable sensitivity for detecting temperature differentials
• Handheld, compact ergonomic design for one-handed operation
• Single unit per pack

How to use

Switch the device on, select the desired measurement scale (°C or °F) and set the sensitivity level. Move the detector slowly along edges of windows, doors, skirting boards and other suspected areas while observing the indicator light. A blue light signals colder air intake, while a red light indicates warmer draughts. Adjust sensitivity if needed to refine detection and repeat scans until the source is identified.

Recommendations

For best results, perform checks when indoor and outdoor temperatures differ (for example on a cold day) and scan slowly along seams and joins. Use the sensitivity setting to avoid false indications from minor temperature changes and store the device in a dry place when not in use.
