Φίλτρο Gradual Neutral Density B&W Master Line 711 GND 0.3 ND 77mm

The Gradual Neutral Density Filter B&W Master Line 711 GND 0.3 ND 77mm is a one-stop graduated neutral density filter designed to reduce light intensity progressively across the frame. Constructed for use on lenses with a 77mm thread, the filter helps balance exposure between bright skies and darker foregrounds, allowing photographers to retain highlight detail while preserving shadow information. The gentle 0.3 ND strength provides subtle control over dynamic range without introducing color cast when used correctly.

Advantages

This GND filter delivers a smooth transition from clear to 0.3 ND, enabling controlled exposure blending in landscape and outdoor scenes. Its optical glass and neutral density formulation minimize color shifts and maintain image sharpness. The 77mm mounting makes it directly compatible with lenses that accept screw-in filters, offering a compact and convenient alternative to square filter holders when a gradual effect is required. The one-stop density is suitable for modest dynamic range adjustments while keeping processing simpler.

Key specifications

• Filter type: Graduated neutral density (GND)
• Density: 0.3 ND (1-stop light reduction)
• Graduation: Smooth graduated transition from clear to neutral density
• Thread size: 77 mm screw-in
• Optical properties: Neutral density designed to minimize color cast and preserve sharpness
• Suitable for: Landscape and outdoor photography, exposure control in high-contrast scenes

How to use

Screw the filter onto a lens with a 77mm front thread and compose your image so the graduation aligns with the horizon or the boundary between bright and dark areas. Rotate the filter on the lens if needed to position the transition line precisely. Use the one-stop reduction to bring down sky brightness or other bright areas; then meter and expose for the combined scene or use exposure bracketing if necessary. Remove the filter when the graduated effect is not required.

Recommendations

For best results, align the transition with natural scene lines (horizon, treetops) and avoid placing the gradient across significant foreground subjects. Combine with polarizing filters only if filter stacking does not introduce vignetting on wide-angle lenses. Clean optical surfaces before use and store the filter in a protective case to prevent scratches and dust.
