Φίλτρα ουδέτερης πυκνότητας (ND8) Freewell Mini 5 Pro για σταθεροποιημένα drones με κάμερα

The Neutral Density (ND8) filter for the Freewell Mini 5 Pro is a precision optical accessory designed for the stabilized camera system used on compact drones and handheld gimbals. By reducing incoming light by three stops, this ND8 filter enables slower shutter speeds or wider apertures in bright conditions, helping to control exposure and achieve natural motion blur in video and balanced exposures in landscape photography. The filter is sized and shaped for quick attachment and secure mounting on the Freewell Mini 5 Pro camera system without introducing significant vignetting or image shift.

Advantages

This ND8 filter provides consistent light reduction with neutral color balance to preserve accurate color rendering. Its optical glass and multi-coating minimize reflections, flare, and ghosting while maintaining image sharpness across the frame. The filter’s low-profile design supports compact mounting and maintains stabilization performance on aerial platforms. It is lightweight to avoid adding unnecessary load to the drone or gimbal and is engineered for repeatable, secure attachment during flight and handheld operation.

Suitable for

• Bright outdoor video recording with the Freewell Mini 5 Pro camera
• Aerial photography and cinematography requiring controlled shutter speed
• Landscape stills where balanced exposure and wide-aperture use are needed
• Handheld gimbal work to achieve natural motion blur and consistent exposure

Key specifications

• Light reduction: 3 stops (ND8)
• Optical material: multi-coated optical glass for reduced reflections
• Color neutrality: designed to preserve natural color balance
• Form factor: low-profile filter compatible with Freewell Mini 5 Pro mounting system
• Weight: lightweight construction to suit stabilized platforms

How to use

Attach the ND8 filter to the Freewell Mini 5 Pro camera according to the manufacturer’s alignment and locking method, ensuring the filter is seated evenly and free of fingerprints or dust. Use the ND8 setting when shooting in bright daylight to allow slower shutter speeds for smoother motion in video or to enable wider apertures for a shallower depth of field in stills. Check the camera preview or histogram after mounting to confirm correct exposure, and make small shutter speed or ISO adjustments if necessary. Remove and store the filter in its protective case when not in use to avoid scratches and contamination.

Recommendations

For best results combine the ND8 filter with appropriate exposure settings: aim for shutter speeds roughly double the frame rate for cinematic motion blur in video (for example, 1/50s at 25 fps) and keep ISO as low as practical to maintain image quality. Clean the filter with a soft, lint-free cloth and air blower before mounting, and avoid touching the coated surfaces directly. When flying, verify gimbal balance after adding the filter to ensure stable performance.
