Φακός ευρυγώνιος Freewell 16 mm για 17-mm Τοποθέτηση

The Freewell 16mm wide-angle lens for devices with a 17mm mount provides a compact, optically tuned solution for capturing wider scenes with a 105° field of view. Designed for attachment to smartphone cases and rigs that use a 17mm threaded mount, the lens extends the usable perspective of the device’s primary camera to a focal length equivalent of 16mm. The front element accepts 58mm screw-on filters, and a Nano Fusion optical coating reduces reflections to help preserve clarity and contrast in a range of lighting conditions.

Advantages

The Freewell 16mm lens delivers a significantly wider perspective compared with standard smartphone optics, enabling expansive landscape, architecture and group shots without repositioning. The 17mm mount provides a secure mechanical connection to compatible cases and mounts, while the 58mm filter thread supports use of ND, CPL and other photographic filters. Nano Fusion coating reduces flare and improves light transmission for clearer, higher-contrast images across varied lighting scenarios. Close-range focusing down to roughly 0.5 m increases flexibility for mixed wide and near-detail shots.

How to use

Attach the Freewell 16mm lens to a compatible smartphone case or rig that provides a 17mm threaded mount, making sure the lens seats securely and aligns with the device’s main 1x camera. If required, remove any protective caps and screw on the lens until it is hand-tight; avoid over-tightening. If you plan to use filters, thread a 58mm filter onto the front element before making final framing adjustments. Use the device’s camera app to frame a wider scene and adjust exposure and focus as needed; for close-range subjects maintain roughly 0.5 m distance for best sharpness.

Recommendations

To reduce flare and maximize contrast, keep the front element clean and consider using a lens hood or shading the lens from strong direct light. When using screw-on filters, verify filter thread compatibility and remove any protective caps that may vignette the image. For best results in mixed lighting, use camera exposure controls or an external exposure lock to prevent overexposure in bright areas. Store the lens in the supplied case and use the cleaning cloth to remove fingerprints and dust before use.
