Workplace noise regulations and community disturbance complaints demand reliable, documented sound level measurements. The EXTECH SL130G Sound Level Monitor answers this need by continuously logging decibel levels with precision, ensuring you have defensible data for compliance, safety audits, or noise nuisance investigations.

Who is it for

Safety officers, industrial hygienists, environmental consultants, and facility managers who must monitor and record noise exposure over time. It is equally valuable for event organizers, municipal authorities, and anyone needing unattended, long-term sound level data collection without a dedicated operator.

Tips

For long-term monitoring, select a sampling interval of 1 minute or longer to maximize battery life and memory capacity. Always calibrate the unit before critical measurements using an acoustic calibrator. Position the logger away from reflective surfaces and at ear height in the monitored area for representative readings.
