Εξωτερικό καλώδιο MiniSAS-HD Supermicro CBL-SAST-0573, 1 m, MiniSAS–MiniSAS, μαύρο

The Supermicro External MiniSAS HD cable CBL-SAST-0573 is a 1 m, black MiniSAS–MiniSAS external cable designed for high-density server and storage environments. It provides a compact external SAS interconnect for linking storage enclosures, host controllers and RAID controller cards. The cable is compliant with T10 and SFF standards and has been validated to work with Supermicro servers, AOC cards and storage systems, offering reliable short-distance connectivity in data centers and workstations.

Advantages

This MiniSAS HD cable delivers a compact form factor and high-density connector arrangement suited to external SAS infrastructures. Validation with Supermicro hardware ensures compatibility and consistent signal integrity. The 1 m length is optimized for short-distance interconnects, reducing cable clutter while maintaining performance. The cable's external MiniSAS connectors on both ends allow straightforward point-to-point connections between compatible devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting external storage enclosures to host adapters or RAID controllers
• Short-distance cabling inside racks and between adjacent rack units
• High-density server and workstation setups where space-saving external links are needed

Key specifications

• Connector type: external MiniSAS HD to external MiniSAS HD
• Length: 1 meter
• Color: black
• Standards: compliant with T10 and SFF specifications
• Use case: external SAS data interconnect for storage and controllers

How to use

Inspect both MiniSAS HD ports on the devices to ensure they are free of debris and properly aligned. Insert each MiniSAS HD connector into the corresponding external port until it seats securely; do not force the connector. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and interference from power lines. For reliable operation, connect the storage enclosure and host or RAID controller while both systems are powered down or follow hot-plug procedures recommended by your hardware vendor.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, keep cable runs short, avoid tight bends and maintain separation from high-current power cables. Use validated connectors and follow the server and storage vendor guidance for hot-swap or hot-plug operations. Replace the cable if physical damage or intermittent connectivity is observed.
