Exertis Connect HD OM3 Glasfaser-Patchkabel, 50/125 µm, 2x ST σε SC Duplex, aqua, 15 m 392767

Data centre technicians and network engineers use this Exertis Connect HD fibre patch cable to link high-density fibre distribution frames and active equipment in enterprise backbones and storage networks. The 15-metre length reaches between adjacent racks or from a patch panel to a switch, while the aqua jacket identifies OM3 multimode fibre for 10G Ethernet and beyond.

Key specifications

• Cable type: Fibre optic patch cable, duplex
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode, 50/125 µm core/cladding
• Connector 1: 2x ST, UPC polish
• Connector 2: SC Duplex, UPC polish
• Length: 15 m
• Jacket colour: Aqua
• Insertion loss: ≤ 25 dB
• Standards: IEC 61754, IEC 61755, ISO 11801

Why choose it

High-density (HD) construction reduces cable volume in congested pathways, and the UPC polish on both connectors minimises back reflections for stable high-speed links. OM3 fibre supports 10G Ethernet up to 300 metres, making it a reliable choice for backbone and server connections.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting fibre patch panels to switches in data centres
• Linking storage arrays and servers in enterprise networks
• Extending backbone links between distribution areas

Good to know

The ST connectors are often used in legacy installations, while the SC Duplex end provides a secure, snap-in connection. The aqua colour is the industry standard for OM3 multimode fibre, simplifying identification in mixed-fibre environments.
