Εσωτερικός adapter M.2 DeLOCK 62721

The DeLOCK 62721 is an internal M.2 adapter that allows connection of an NVMe storage device (for example a U.2 SSD using the SFF-8643 interface) to an M.2 slot via a PCIe interface. The adapter supports the PCIe 3.0 standard with a maximum data transfer rate of 12 Gbit/s and is supplied in a black and red design. It is compatible with common Windows editions including Windows 10 Education and Enterprise.

Advantages

The adapter enables the use of NVMe devices with systems that provide an M.2 slot, preserving PCIe 3.0 performance up to the specified 12 Gbit/s. Its internal form factor keeps the installation compact and the black/red colour scheme integrates with many system builds. Compatibility with multiple Windows editions simplifies deployment in desktop or workstation environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting a U.2 NVMe SSD via SFF-8643 to an M.2 slot
• Upgrading internal storage in desktops and workstations
• Systems requiring PCIe 3.0 NVMe support at up to 12 Gbit/s

How to use

Install the DeLOCK 62721 adapter into the target M.2 slot following the motherboard or system manual for M.2 device installation. Connect the NVMe device (for example a U.2 SSD) to the adapter using the SFF-8643 connector and secure any mounting screws as required. After physical installation, boot the system and verify the device is recognised in the operating system; install drivers or initialise the drive in Disk Management if necessary.

Recommendations

Ensure the motherboard M.2 slot supports PCIe NVMe devices and PCIe 3.0 to achieve the specified transfer rate. Use appropriate anti-static precautions during installation and consult the system manual for clearance and thermal considerations when adding NVMe storage.
