Εσωτερικό καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας ShiverPeaks BS78236-HQ 0,15 m

The ShiverPeaks BS78236-HQ internal power cable is a 0.15 m adapter cable that converts a Molex 4-pin power output to a SATA 15-pin power connector. Designed for internal PC use, this compact cable provides a direct power feed for SATA drives or devices where a native SATA power connector is required but only Molex output is available. The cable's short length helps reduce clutter and improves airflow inside small or tightly packed cases while maintaining standard connector pinouts for compatibility.

Advantages

This internal power cable offers a compact 0.15 m length that suits installations with limited space. The Molex 4-pin to SATA 15-pin conversion enables straightforward power delivery to SATA hard drives, SSDs or optical drives from older power supplies or adapters. The cable uses standard connector types and a three-colour wire arrangement (black, red, yellow) for consistent voltage rails, ensuring predictable power distribution and easy identification during system assembly.

Suitable for

• Connecting a SATA HDD, SSD or optical drive when only Molex power is available
• Small form-factor builds or cramped PC cases requiring short internal cables
• Upgrading or repurposing older power supplies without native SATA power

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.15 m
• Input connector: Molex 4-pin
• Output connector: SATA 15-pin
• Wire colours: black, red, yellow
• Intended use: internal PC power connection

How to use

Install the cable by firmly plugging the Molex 4-pin connector into the corresponding Molex power header from the power supply or adapter, and then connect the SATA 15-pin plug to the SATA device's power inlet. Verify correct orientation before applying power to avoid misalignment. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain reliable electrical contact and avoid strain on the cable during routing inside the chassis.

Recommendations

Route the cable to minimize bends and avoid contact with sharp edges. Use the short length for tidy installations near the drive bay; for multiple drives, use separate dedicated cables or a proper splitter designed for simultaneous load. Do not modify connectors or wires, and disconnect power before installation or removal.
