Ερμάριο τοίχου rack Inter-Tech SMB-6606

The Inter-Tech SMB-6606 is a 6U wall mounted rack engineered for compact installations of network and server equipment. Designed for indoor use with an IP20 rating, the rack combines a slim 6U height and 600 mm usable depth with a sturdy construction that supports up to 40 kg of equipment. Finished in RAL 9005 black powder coating, the SMB-6606 features a tempered glass front door with a key lock, removable side panels and cable inlets in both the top and the floor for organized cable routing.

Advantages

The SMB-6606 provides a space-saving alternative to large freestanding cabinets thanks to its low 6U height and compact footprint. A material thickness of 1.25–1.50 mm gives stable support for mounted devices while keeping the overall rack weight at 20 kg. The integrated tempered glass door with lock and removable side panels offer secure and accessible equipment housing, and the double-section rear design that opens like a door simplifies maintenance. Optional 120 mm fans can be installed in the lid to improve ventilation when required.

Suitable for

• Small network closets and comms rooms where floor space is limited
• Wall-mounted installations for switches, patch panels and small servers
• Environments requiring secured, indoor equipment housing with controlled access

How to use

Mount the SMB-6606 securely to a suitable structural wall using appropriate fixings for the wall material and the total applied load. Install rack-mounted equipment into the 6U frame, distributing weight evenly and observing the 40 kg maximum load. Route network and power cables through the provided inlets in the top and floor to maintain tidy cable management. Use the tempered glass front door and key lock to restrict access, and remove side panels or open the rear section when performing maintenance or reconfiguration. If additional airflow is needed, install up to two 120 mm fans in the lid according to the manufacturer’s installation guidelines.

Recommendations

For safe and durable installation, verify wall strength and use suitable anchors rated for the combined weight of the rack and installed equipment. Keep the environment free of excessive dust and moisture to maintain IP20 conditions, and consider adding the optional lid fans when mounting active equipment that generates heat. Secure cables to avoid strain on connectors and periodically check the lock and door fittings for proper function.
