Εργαλείο πρέσας Knipex 97 51 10

The Knipex 97 51 10 crimping tool is a professional instrument for cutting and stripping unshielded ribbon telephone cables and for crimping 6- and 8-pole Western plugs (RJ11/12, 9.65 mm) and RJ45 plugs (11.68 mm). Made of oil-hardened chrome vanadium electric steel, the compact tool (approx. 190 mm length) combines durability with precise parallel crimping and an integral self-releasing lock for consistent high-quality crimps.

Advantages

Parallel crimping ensures an exact, even crimping process while the self-releasing mechanism provides repetitive, reliable results and prevents over-crimping. The tool includes a built-in length cutter and stripping knife for ribbon cables (6 and 12 mm) and an additional stripping device for round cables. Its compact size and ergonomic handles give comfortable handling for professional and occasional use.

Suitable for

How to use

Select the appropriate connector type and insert the plug into the crimping die. Position the prepared conductor or ribbon cable to the specified strip length (6 mm or 12 mm for ribbon cables) and, if needed, use the built-in length cutter and stripping knife to prepare the cable. Squeeze the handles until the self-releasing mechanism completes the crimp; the tool will release automatically when the crimping cycle is finished. For round cables, use the additional stripping device before crimping.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors and conductors before crimping and ensure cables are stripped to the correct length. Keep the tool clean and lightly lubricated as recommended by the manufacturer; store in a dry place to protect the oil-hardened chrome vanadium steel finish.
