Equip ST/SC καλώδιο patch οπτικών ινών, OS2, 5m

The Equip Fiber Optic Patch Cable ST/SC OS2, 5 m is a single-mode patch cord with a 9 µm core diameter designed for high-speed data transmission and full duplex communication. It features SC and ST connectors compatible with common networking equipment and is intended for use in data centers, telecommunications racks and other structured cabling installations. The cable conforms to OS2 single-mode fiber standards and is available in a 5 m length to bridge connections between devices.

Advantages

The Equip ST/SC OS2 patch cable delivers low insertion loss and controlled return loss through quality fiber and precise ferrule endface geometry. Upgraded materials and factory-terminated connectors ensure consistent optical performance and easy installation. The combination of ST and SC connectors provides flexible compatibility with a wide range of ports and transceivers.

Suitable for

• Interconnections in data centers and server rooms
• Telecommunications and backbone fiber links
• Patch panels and structured cabling systems
• Full duplex fiber links between network devices

Key specifications

• Brand: EQUIP
• Model / MPN: 252335
• EAN: 4015867176887
• Type: Single-mode patch cable (OS2)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connectors: ST to SC
• Length: 5 m

How to use

Verify connector types on both devices and inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before making connections. Align the ST connector by inserting and twisting the bayonet coupling until it locks, and insert the SC connector straight into the mating socket until it clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the recommended minimum bend radius for single-mode fiber to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, keep connector endfaces clean using appropriate fiber-cleaning tools, avoid excessive bend or tensile stress, and store spare cables in protective packaging. Use this OS2 ST/SC patch cable for single-mode links where low loss and long reach are required.
