Equip Pigtail Οπτικών Ινών LC/PC, OM3, 2,0 m

The Equip LC/PC Fiber Optic Pigtail OM3 is a 2.0 m single-fibre cable designed for high-speed data transmission in modern networks. Manufactured from quality materials, it provides stable end-face geometry for reduced return loss and low insertion loss. With a 50 µm core diameter and LC/PC termination, this pigtail supports full-duplex links and is suitable for connecting fibre optic equipment in data centres, telecom racks and LAN environments.

Advantages

The pigtail offers precise connector end-face geometry to minimise return loss and insertion loss. Its OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core is optimised for higher bandwidth multimedia and short-range 10G links. The 2.0 m length provides deployment flexibility and the LC/PC connector ensures wide compatibility with standard LC ports.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and cabinet connections
• Multimode 10 Gigabit Ethernet links
• Telecommunications and LAN backbone connections
• Equipment terminations where LC/PC interfaces are used

How to use

Route the pigtail from the equipment port to the patch panel or splice tray, avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress. Insert the LC/PC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks to ensure proper seating. For permanent connections, splice the bare fibre end in a splice tray or use the pigtail to terminate pre-terminated equipment ports. Perform standard fibre inspection and testing (visual inspection, insertion loss and return loss measurements) after installation.

Recommendations

Handle connectors by the housing, keep end-faces clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools, and maintain a minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre to preserve signal integrity and longevity.
