Equip Pigtail Οπτικών Ινών LC/PC, OM3, 1,0 m

The Equip LC/PC Fiber Optic Pigtail OM3 1.0m is a single-mode patch cable designed for reliable fibre connections in data networks. With a 50 µm core diameter and LC/PC connectors, this 1.0 m OM3 pigtail supports high-speed, full-duplex transmission and is suitable for short-range multimode links where controlled return loss and low insertion loss are required.

Advantages

This fiber optic pigtail is manufactured from high-quality materials to provide consistent end-face geometry, resulting in lower return loss and reduced insertion loss. The LC/PC connector ensures stable mating with LC ports and the OM3 fibre grade supports enhanced bandwidth for modern network applications. The product’s 1.0 m length and standardized connector type make installation and patching straightforward.

Suitable for

• Data center patch panels and fibre trunk extensions
• LAN and campus network links requiring OM3 multimode performance
• Connecting switches, transceivers and optical equipment with LC ports

How to use

Prepare the fibre management area and ensure dust-free conditions before installation. Route the pigtail from the termination point to the patch panel or transceiver port and secure the cable to avoid sharp bends (keep bend radius within manufacturer recommendations). Clean LC/PC end faces with appropriate fibre-cleaning tools before mating. Insert the LC connector into the matching LC port until it clicks; verify link continuity and optical power levels after connection.

Recommendations

Store the pigtail in a protective spool or bag when not installed, avoid excessive bending or tensile stress, and always clean connector end faces prior to connection to maintain low insertion loss and reliable optical performance.
