Ασύρματος αισθητήρας οροφής Homematic IP HmIP-SPI

The Wireless Ceiling Sensor Homematic IP HmIP-SPI is a compact indoor motion detector designed for ceiling installation and reliable presence detection up to 7 meters. It operates in the 868.3 / 869.525 MHz band and is intended for integration into Homematic IP smart home systems. The device has a low-profile white housing with dimensions of 100 mm x 100 mm x 29 mm and an IP20 rating for indoor environments. Powered by an alkaline battery, the sensor is built for low energy consumption and unobtrusive installation in rooms where ceiling-mounted motion detection is required.

Advantages

The ceiling sensor provides dependable detection at a distance up to 7 meters while maintaining a compact form factor that blends with most indoor ceilings. Its wireless operation simplifies installation without the need for wiring, and the low power consumption of around 80 mA extends battery life in typical use. Designed for compatibility with Homematic IP systems, the sensor supports seamless integration into existing smart home configurations and centralized automation.

Suitable for

• Room occupancy detection in living rooms, hallways, bedrooms and offices
• Triggering lighting automation based on presence
• Integration with security and comfort scenarios in Homematic IP systems
• Areas where ceiling-mounted detection provides better coverage than wall sensors

Key specifications

• Detection range: up to 7 meters
• Operating frequency: 868.3 / 869.525 MHz
• Power supply: alkaline battery
• Power consumption: approximately 80 mA
• Ingress protection: IP20 (indoor use)
• Housing color: white

How to use

Mount the Wireless Ceiling Sensor on a flat ceiling surface at the recommended height to achieve full coverage of the monitored area. Insert the alkaline battery according to the polarity markings and pair the sensor with a Homematic IP access point or compatible central unit following the manufacturer's pairing procedure. After pairing, configure detection sensitivity, automation rules and device placement within the Homematic IP app or central configuration to match the room layout and intended use.

Recommendations

Install the sensor away from direct air flows, heaters and windows to avoid false triggers. For best performance position the sensor centrally in the room and maintain clear line of sight to the monitored area. Replace the battery when low battery notifications appear in the Homematic IP system; verify radio reception if coverage issues occur.
