Epson EcoTank ET-8500 Inkjet A4 5760 x 1440 DPI 32 ppm Wi-Fi

The Epson EcoTank ET-8500 Inkjet Colour Printing multifunction printer is designed to deliver high-resolution colour output for home and small office environments. It uses inkjet technology with a high maximum resolution of 5760 x 1440 DPI and supports duplex printing. The device integrates colour scanning with an optical resolution up to 1200 x 4800 DPI, wired Ethernet and Wi‑Fi connectivity for direct printing, and a compact footprint that keeps it suitable for desktop placement.

Advantages

This multifunction printer provides high-detail colour printing and scanning while maintaining relatively fast document throughput at up to 32 ppm for A4 pages in normal black mode. Integrated network connectivity via Wi‑Fi and Ethernet enables wireless and wired printing from multiple devices. The EcoTank design reduces the need for frequent ink replacements, and duplex printing capability saves paper on two-sided documents. The unit’s modest weight and white finish make it adaptable to various workspaces.

Suitable for

• Home offices producing colour documents, photos and reports
• Small businesses requiring networked colour printing and scanning
• Users who need duplex printing to reduce paper usage
• Environments where high optical scan resolution is needed for document archiving

Select duplex printing in the print settings when two-sided output is required.

Recommendations

For consistent print quality, use paper types and settings that match the printed content (plain paper for text, photo paper for images) and perform routine nozzle checks and head alignments. Keep the printer firmware and drivers up to date and ensure a stable network connection for reliable Wi‑Fi or Ethernet printing.
