The ZWILLING 36610-000-0 flat grater is a compact, lightweight tool designed for fine grating tasks such as zesting citrus and grating chocolate. Made from durable plastic with a grey finish, this mini grater features an ample grating surface and an ergonomic handle that allows grating directly over dishes. Designed and engineered in Germany, the Z-Cut technology combines a two-way cutting action and a unique Z-cut blade tooth geometry to deliver efficient, consistent results with minimal effort. The grater is slip-proof and dishwasher safe.

Advantages

Z-Cut engineering provides faster and cleaner grating by combining sharp two-way cutting functionality with a specially shaped blade tooth design. The flat grater’s compact dimensions (approx. 39.9 mm × 160 mm × 7.11 mm) and low weight make it easy to store and handle for small-scale food prep. The ergonomic handle and slip-proof design improve control and safety during use, while dishwasher-safe construction simplifies cleaning.

How to use

Hold the grater by the handle with the grating surface angled over the dish or plate. Move the ingredient across the grating surface using light, even pressure to produce fine shavings or zest. For best results, grate small amounts at a time and keep fingers clear of the blade. After use, rinse immediately or place the grater in the dishwasher according to manufacturer instructions.

Recommendations

Use for small-scale finishing tasks rather than heavy-duty grating; avoid applying excessive force and keep away from children. Clean after use — dishwasher safe but rinse off large residues before placing in the dishwasher.
