How to use

Strip the insulation from the wire according to the connector manufacturer's recommended length, insert the conductor into the crimp contact, and use an appropriate crimping tool for D-Sub crimp terminals to make a secure mechanical and electrical connection. After crimping, verify the contact retention and continuity before inserting the contacts into the D-Sub HD female housing.

Recommendations

Use the specified AWG 20 or AWG 24 wire sizes and a compatible crimping tool for D-Sub HD contacts. Inspect each crimp visually and with a pull test where applicable. Store the contacts in a dry environment and avoid excessive force when inserting into the connector housing to prevent contact damage.
