Ενεργή προέκταση Lindy 8m USB 3.0 λεπτή

The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Slim 8m extends a USB Type A connection by 8 metres while maintaining USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 Gen 1 data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. The cable has a USB A male to USB A female configuration, a slim ABS jacket for use in confined spaces, and is bus-powered with an optional DC socket for an external power supply when connecting high-power devices or chaining multiple extensions. It is compatible with computers and hosts that use USB Type A and supports plug-and-play installation.

Advantages

The slim design allows installation in narrow surroundings and reduces connector bulk compared with other active USB extension leads. The built-in active electronics preserve signal integrity over the 8 m length and enable chaining of multiple Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Slim cables for longer reaches. An optional DC power input provides stable power for devices with higher consumption or for serially connected extensions. Plug-and-play operation requires no driver installation.

Suitable for

• Extending USB Type A storage devices (external HDD/SSD) to a PC or laptop
• Connecting webcams, audio interfaces or other peripherals over longer distances
• Temporary or permanent installations where a slim cable profile is required

How to use

Connect the USB A male plug to the host computer or hub and plug the USB A female end into the peripheral device. If the connected device requires more power or if you are chaining several active extensions, connect a compatible DC power supply to the cable’s DC socket before powering the host. The cable supports plug-and-play; the host should recognise the device automatically.

Recommendations

Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended chaining limit: up to five Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Slim cables can be combined, but if you include the 15 m version (MPN 43404) in the chain, limit the number of additional 8 m (or other) extensions accordingly because the 15 m unit contains two chipsets. For best performance, use a quality external power supply when connecting multiple extensions or high-power devices.
