Ενδιάμεσος διακόπτης AS Schwabe 45221 με PRCD, 230 V, IP55, μαύρο

AS Schwabe 45221 is an intermediate electrical switch with integrated PRCD protection, designed for safe switching and residual-current protection in 230 V installations. Encased in a black IP55-rated enclosure, this Zwischenschalter combines the ability to switch from multiple locations with built-in protection against earth leakage. The compact design and robust housing make it suitable for temporary and fixed installations in environments where dust and splashing water are present.

Advantages

The unit provides integrated PRCD functionality that detects residual currents and helps reduce the risk of electric shock. Its IP55 enclosure offers dust protection and protection against water jets, supporting use in outdoor and industrial settings. The intermediate switch mechanism allows control from more than two locations in a circuit, enabling flexible installation layouts. The black housing is durable and designed to withstand normal mechanical stresses encountered in construction and worksite environments.

How to use

Install the intermediate switch in compliance with local electrical regulations and wiring standards. Mount the device in a suitable location where the IP55 protection will be effective. Connect the line, load and return conductors according to the circuit design that requires multi-location switching, and ensure the PRCD connections are wired so residual-current detection covers the protected circuit. After installation, test the PRCD function and switching operation before putting the circuit into regular use.

Recommendations

Regularly test the residual-current function according to applicable safety standards and perform periodic visual inspections of the enclosure for damage or ingress. Use only qualified personnel for installation and maintenance, and avoid exposing the device to conditions beyond its IP55 rating.
