ELSYS ELT VWC-αισθητήρας - METER Teros 12

For precision agriculture and environmental monitoring, the ELSYS ELT VWC sensor stands apart by integrating the renowned METER Teros 12 probe directly into a LoRaWAN transmitter. This combination delivers research-grade volumetric water content (VWC), electrical conductivity (EC), and soil temperature data with exceptional accuracy and long-term stability, without the need for complex wiring or frequent maintenance.

Highlights

• Integrated METER Teros 12 sensor for reliable soil measurements
• Measures volumetric water content (0-100%), EC (0-20 dS/m), and temperature (-40 to +60°C)
• LoRaWAN Class A connectivity with support for EU868, US915, AU915, AS923, KR920, and IN865 bands
• IP67-rated transmitter enclosure for harsh outdoor conditions
• Powered by a single 3.6V AA lithium battery with up to 10 years of battery life
• Configurable reporting interval from 5 minutes to 24 hours
• Wall or pole mountable transmitter with soil-insertion sensor

In daily use

Deploy the ELT VWC sensor in fields, greenhouses, or research plots to monitor soil moisture trends, salinity levels, and temperature. The sensor's SDI-12 interface communicates internally with the LoRaWAN transmitter, which then sends data to your network server. With its robust IP67 housing and wide operating temperature range (-30 to +70°C), the transmitter withstands challenging environments, while the internal antenna simplifies installation. The long battery life minimizes maintenance visits, and the configurable transmission interval lets you balance data granularity with power consumption.
