Ελεγκτής αποθήκευσης FUJITSU PRAID EP 3254-8I FH/LP 8 θύρες

FUJITSU PRAID Controller EP 3254-8I FH/LP is an 8‑port storage controller designed for integration into server and SAN environments. The card in FH/LP (full-height/low-profile) form factor supports flexible mounting options in different chassis types. It provides RAID management for multiple disk arrays, simplifies array configuration and maintenance, and helps increase storage reliability and performance for enterprise systems.

Advantages

The controller offers eight ports for connecting multiple drives or expanders, enabling consolidated management of disk arrays and RAID levels. Its FH/LP form factor ensures compatibility with both full-height and low-profile server slots. Built for datacenter use, the controller reduces administration overhead by centralizing RAID functions and supports hot-swap maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.

Suitable for

• Enterprise servers requiring RAID-managed local storage
• Storage area networks (SAN) that need reliable array controllers
• Data center racks with mixed full-height and low-profile slots
• Environments that require simplified drive replacement and maintenance

Key specifications

• Form factor: full-height / low-profile compatible
• Number of ports: 8 external ports for drives or expanders
• Functionality: hardware RAID controller for disk array management
• Target use: server and SAN environments for enterprise storage
• Maintenance support: designed for hot-swap and online RAID management

How to use

Install the controller into an available PCIe slot matching the server's compatibility and secure it according to the chassis form factor. Connect drives or SAS expanders to the controller's eight ports using appropriate cables. Configure RAID levels and array parameters through the server management utility or the controller's firmware interface, then initialize and verify arrays before production use. Monitor controller status and array health from the host management tools to ensure correct operation.

Recommendations

For predictable performance and reliability, match drive types and capacities within arrays, use supported firmware and driver versions from the server vendor or FUJITSU, and follow hot-swap procedures when replacing failed drives. Test RAID rebuilds in a maintenance window and keep regular backups of critical data.
