Εκκεντρικός λειαντήρας Metabo SXE 3150

The Metabo SXE 3150 orbital sander is a lightweight, ergonomically designed sanding tool with a 310 W motor and a 15 cm sanding disc. It offers a variable idle speed range from 4,000 to 12,000 RPM to match different materials and applications, and its low vibration and smooth running operation support comfortable handling for a variety of sanding tasks. The sander includes a base plate with multiple extraction holes and can be used with its textile dust bag or connected to a vacuum cleaner for dust extraction.

Advantages

The ergonomic design with a non-slip softgrip surface improves control and comfort during extended use. Vario (V)-electronics allow speed adjustment to suit different materials, while the sturdy aluminium die-cast bearing housing increases durability. A base plate with multiple holes enhances dust extraction efficiency and extends sanding media life. The tool is lightweight (1.6 kg) and engineered for low-vibration operation, reducing user fatigue.

Suitable for

• Sanding and smoothing wood surfaces
• Preparing painted or varnished surfaces for refinishing
• Light removal of fillers and surface imperfections
• General DIY and professional finishing tasks

How to use

Attach the appropriate abrasive disc to the 150 mm base plate and set the Vario speed control to a low setting for delicate materials or a higher setting for faster material removal. Hold the sander by its softgrip areas and move it evenly across the surface without applying excessive downward force; let the tool’s weight and orbital motion do the work. For best results, sand with gradually finer grits and check the surface frequently.

Recommendations

Use a dust extraction system or the supplied textile dust bag to minimise airborne dust. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and a dust mask, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for maintenance and safe operation.
