EFB Elektronik 25 m Cat6 S/FTP καλώδιο δικτύου κόκκινο

The EFB Elektronik 25m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable in red is a 25-metre Ethernet cable designed for Gigabit networks. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and comes with two RJ-45 Cat6 plugs that are TIA/EIA 568B coded and halogen-free. The connectors feature gold plating and a protective boot for improved handling and a compact, high-density design.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable high-speed data transmission for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, with S/FTP shielding for minimized crosstalk and external interference. Halogen-free materials meet safety requirements for reduced toxic emissions in case of fire. The protected design and compact plugs allow for high packing density and easier installation in crowded patch panels.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections (10/100/1000Base-T(X))
• Office and data center patching and horizontal cabling
• Environments requiring halogen-free cabling
• Installations needing compact, high-density connector arrangements

Key specifications

• Length: 25 m
• Cable type: Cat6 S/FTP
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, Cat6 plugs
• Coding: TIA/EIA 568B
• Material: Halogen-free
• Colour: Red
• Networking standard: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router or computer) and the other to the corresponding port on the network infrastructure or another device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. For patch panels and high-density racks, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for Cat6 cabling.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for extended distances and keep connector contacts clean. Use the TIA/EIA 568B wiring scheme when terminating or testing connections to ensure compatibility with existing installations.
