Καλώδιο επέκτασης USB 2.0 e p CC 518/5 5,0 m Type-A

The e p CC 518/5 USB 2.0 extension cable with Type A connectors extends the reach of USB Type A devices by 5.0 m while maintaining USB 2.0 data transfer capabilities. The cable provides plug-and-play connectivity for common peripherals and enables more flexible device placement without altering existing hardware or ports.

Advantages

This extension cable supports standard USB 2.0 signaling for reliable data transfer and is compatible with Type A ports on hosts and devices. The 5.0 m length reduces the need to relocate devices or computers and helps keep workspaces organized by allowing peripherals to be placed at a convenient distance. The straightforward male-to-female Type A connection requires no drivers and is ready for immediate use.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers and scanners when the original cable is too short
• Extending keyboard and mouse cables for more comfortable desk layouts
• Providing extra reach for external hard drives and flash drives
• Temporary or permanent extension of USB Type A peripherals in offices, home offices and classrooms

Key specifications

• Cable type: USB 2.0 extension, Type A male to Type A female
• Length: 5.0 metres
• Data transfer: USB 2.0 speeds (up to 480 Mbps theoretical)
• Connector gender: one male Type A plug, one female Type A socket
• Compatibility: USB Type A devices and host ports supporting USB 2.0/1.1
• Usage: passive extension (no signal amplification or active repeater)

How to use

Insert the male Type A plug into an available USB Type A port on your computer or hub, then connect the peripheral’s original Type A plug into the female Type A socket on the extension cable. Ensure connections are fully seated. For best results, avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep the run within the specified length to maintain signal integrity. No software installation is required for operation.

Recommendations

Use this passive USB 2.0 extension for peripherals that are tolerant of USB 2.0 bandwidth and power delivery limits. If you need higher data rates, longer distances with active signal boosting, or additional power for bus-powered devices, consider using USB 3.x cables, active extenders, or powered hubs as appropriate.
