The Bosch 2 608 602 198 cutting disc is a purpose-built abrasive wheel for cutting concrete. Designed for use with angle grinders, this single-disc pack offers a balance of cutting speed and durability suited to construction, renovation and repair tasks. The disc is manufactured to Bosch quality standards and engineered to provide consistent performance when working with masonry materials such as concrete, cement blocks and precast elements.

Advantages

This cutting disc delivers precise, straight cuts through concrete while maintaining edge life appropriate for intermittent professional use or intensive DIY jobs. Its abrasive composition and bond are selected to reduce glazing and maintain cutting efficiency, helping to minimise downtime for disc changes. The disc's compatibility with standard angle grinders ensures straightforward mounting and operation.

Suitable for

• Cutting reinforced and non-reinforced concrete
• Trimming concrete blocks and pavers
• On-site renovation and repair work
• Preparation of openings for plumbing or electrical installations in masonry

Key specifications

• Type: abrasive cutting disc for concrete
• Intended material: concrete and other masonry
• Compatibility: designed for use with handheld angle grinders
• Pack quantity: 1 disc
• Typical characteristics: high abrasion resistance, balanced hardness for cutting masonry

How to use

Fit the cutting disc to a compatible angle grinder following the grinder manufacturer's instructions, ensuring the disc direction and mounting are correct. Securely tighten the flange and guard, wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye, hearing and respiratory protection, and verify the workpiece is stable. Start the grinder and allow it to reach full speed before making controlled, steady passes through the concrete. Avoid lateral pressure or twisting motions that can overload the disc. After cutting, allow the disc to stop completely before setting the tool down.

Recommendations

Use the disc on properly rated grinders and observe maximum recommended rotational speed printed on the tool or disc packaging. Replace the disc if you notice cracking, excessive vibration or loss of cutting performance. For cutting reinforced concrete, take care around embedded metal and consider using a dedicated metal-cutting disc if extended contact with rebar is expected.
