DIGITUS OnLine UPS-Tower 2000 VA / 2000 W, Online διπλής μετατροπής

The DIGITUS OnLine 2000 VA / 2000 W tower UPS is an online double-conversion uninterruptible power supply designed to provide continuous, high-quality AC power to servers, network equipment and critical workstations. It stabilizes voltage, filters mains interference and switches to battery power without interruption, giving time for a controlled shutdown and protection against data loss and hardware damage. The compact tower format makes it suitable for small server rooms, offices and professional infrastructures. Integrated display and communication interfaces allow monitoring and basic control, while optimized charging and a wide input range extend battery life in unstable electrical conditions.

Advantages

This UPS offers true online double-conversion topology with 0 ms transfer to battery, pure sine wave output and high voltage regulation (±1 %) to protect sensitive electronics. It has a high efficiency in normal operation and an ECO mode for improved energy use, optimized charging management for faster recharge and longer battery lifetime, and generator compatibility with a cold-start function. The unit is space-saving and provides multiple protection features including overload, short-circuit and overheating protection.

Suitable for

• Small to medium server rooms and rack-less server setups
• Network equipment such as switches, routers and firewalls
• Critical workstations and business PCs
• Office infrastructure and point-of-sale systems

When it may not be suitable

The UPS is designed for environments with moderate rack space and for standalone tower installations; it may not be ideal where 19" rackmount form factor is required without additional mounting accessories. Large data centers with very high power demands may require higher-capacity or parallel-redundant solutions. Also, operation above 1000 m altitude requires power reduction, so sites at higher altitudes should verify performance.

How to use

Install the UPS in a well-ventilated, dust-free area on a stable surface. Connect the input to the mains using an appropriate IEC C20 cable and plug critical devices into the IEC C13 outlets. Charge the batteries for the recommended time before relying on battery runtime. Configure local communication via USB or RS-232 for monitoring, or install the optional SNMP/web card for network management. Test the failover function under controlled conditions to confirm proper operation and allow connected systems to perform an orderly shutdown when needed.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the total power draw of connected equipment does not exceed 2000 W
• Check physical space and clearances for the tower dimensions and ventilation
• Confirm required outlet types and number (4 × IEC C13) match your devices or adapters
• Assess altitude of installation and possible power reduction above 1000 m
• Decide if remote monitoring via SNMP is required and plan for the optional network card

Recommendations

For reliable operation, keep the UPS in a temperature-controlled environment (0–40 °C), perform regular battery tests and replace VRLA batteries according to usage and manufacturer guidance. Enable ECO mode where appropriate to improve efficiency, but verify critical loads tolerate ECO-mode transfer characteristics. Use the optional SNMP/web card for remote alerts and integrate UPS monitoring into your infrastructure management tools.
