DIGITAL MATTER Oyster Edge Εσωτερικός/Εξωτερικός Tracker 4G / LTE-M / NB-IoT / Bluetooth 5.2 Gateway

Tracking high-value assets in harsh environments often means choosing between battery life and connectivity. The DIGITAL MATTER Oyster Edge 4G solves this by combining ultra-long battery endurance with reliable LTE-M/NB-IoT cellular and Bluetooth 5.2 gateway capabilities in a rugged IP67 housing.

Who is it for

Fleet managers, logistics providers, and industrial operators who need to monitor trailers, containers, equipment, or unpowered assets for years without frequent battery changes. It also suits IoT integrators looking for a battery-powered BLE gateway to collect data from nearby sensors and tags.

Main features

• 4G LTE-M (Cat-M1) and NB-IoT (Cat-NB1/NB2) connectivity with 2G fallback for maximum coverage.
• Bluetooth 5.2 gateway mode to scan and forward data from BLE tags, sensors, or beacons.
• Concurrent GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS) with assisted GPS for fast, accurate fixes.
• Powered by 3 user-replaceable AA batteries (lithium or alkaline) delivering up to 10 years of operation.
• Rugged IP67 weatherproof enclosure made of UV-stable polycarbonate.
• Built-in 3-axis accelerometer and temperature sensor for motion and environment monitoring.
• 1MB flash memory for data logging when out of coverage, with AES-128 encryption.
• Flexible mounting via screws, cable ties, magnets, or adhesive.
