The SCHWAIGER 2-way distributor VTF8842 241 is designed for home cable and SAT distribution systems. It supports a frequency range of 5–2400 MHz and allows DC pass-through, making it suitable for use with active satellite equipment. The compact silver housing (58 × 28 × 55 mm) and plastic spacer simplify installation in confined spaces.

Advantages

The distributor provides reliable signal splitting across a wide frequency range and includes DC pass capability for powering LNBs or other active components. Its compact metal housing and included plastic spacer enable easy cable routing and installation in home distribution setups.

Suitable for

• Home cable TV distribution
• SAT installations requiring DC pass to LNBs or amplifiers
• Small or confined installation spaces
• Splitting a single feed to two receivers

How to use

Connect the incoming coaxial cable to the distributor’s input and connect the two outputs to the desired receivers or devices. Ensure connectors are tightened securely. If supplying power to an LNB or active device, confirm that the receiver or power inserter provides DC on the required coaxial line. Mount the unit using the plastic spacer to route cables neatly and to maintain a stable installation.

Recommendations

Use high-quality coaxial cables and well-shielded connectors to preserve signal quality. If signal loss or interference occurs, consider using an amplifier or a multiswitch appropriate for your setup rather than adding multiple passive splitters.
